I’m travelling to England this afternoon for a weekend visit to my son and family in Leicestershire…so I thought an English folksong would work well as today’s post here. I particularly like Ralph Vaughan Williams’ - Linden Lea, which I’ve sung as a choral piece many times over the years. To add an international dimension I’ve chosen a really charming performance by a choir of students at the National University of Singapore with Graduate singers, at Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore in 2016. The Orchards of the West Country meets the Orchids of the Far East you could perhaps say! …..

I think they were soloists who had performed earlier…I get a feeling this was an encore at the end of a concert.
Delightful voices singing a beautiful song!
