Some of the beautiful things that caught my eye at MSWF, yesterday. It was an AMAZING day. I can't wait to go again next year.

Great pictures. It looks as if you had fun. I wish I could have been there.

@Insectra That's the trouble with hand-crafted goods. If I put a genuine price on the things I make that reflects the time and materials that have gone into them it would be impossible to sell anything. If people are going to make a living out of their craft, they have to put quite high prices, but apart from buying and selling, I always feel I get a lot of ideas for things I want to do myself when I go to fairs - not stealing people's ideas, but giving me nudges in various directions!

@Insectra I sell hand-knitted hats, sometimes made with commerical yarns and sometimes made with home-spun and dyed wools. I don't charge high prices but you would be horrified at the number of people who tell me they can get a knitted hat for half that price at whatever cheap shop they patronise.

I have a sweater that is a combo of merino wool, cashmere and angora. Grey and so soooo soft. BEST part? Goodwill for 5 dollars!!!

I LOVE wool clothing, tho like cotton it is very linty!! Which for a person who dislikes the vacuum cleaner is frustrating - talk about creating ones own hell - LOL.

Great pictures! I really liked the sheep, easy to see where Shari Lewis got the face for her puppet Lamb Chop.

I have no idea what's going on in the first picture. What are the tools featured in that photo? The colors of the different skeins of wool are AMAZING.

Lace making- love to watch them threw the bobbins back and forth. An amazing craft. I am glad you went.
