@LiterateHiker the transit system is a bit hard to figure out but the king county metro website used to have a feature that would map out a bus route to and from point x to place y just by entering the addresses (Haven't used it in awhile, assuming it still exists). I used to commute from Kirkland to downtown by bus for about 5 years and used the site all the time to get around. Now I think, not sure, that they have a phone app that does much the same. @RoboGraham thats a rather simplistic view, and i think its wrong and doesnt take into account excately how razor thin trumps electorial victory actually was - it was less than 100,000 votes, while losing the pop vote by over 3 million. If you want to boil it down to a simple "this is the only thing that will beat Trump" go with "don't be corrupt" - it worked after Nixon. Bernie needs to form a 3rd party. You can put anyone you want into office and if they don't have support in Congress you've just wasted 4 years of everyone's lives. Bernie being president isn't going to change much, but Bernie founding and guiding a 3rd party could really change things for a century or more. He shouldn't have gotten any of the new age reps endorsements - they should be members of his party and he should be promoting *them* along with a few dozen more to get the actual votes into Congress. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE PERMINANT, LONG LASTING CHANGE. Bernie has made a point of not being a member of any established party - then when he saw it was useful, tried to hijack a parties primary - look how well that's worked out for the Republican party if one of the thoughts you had about that was "good" - and fractured the party (but fuck me why'd the dems get so wedded to the back to back minority candidate crap?) in the general.

The man poses are boring. Looks like they photoshopped a model onto stock maniqine pics. Shit, the shirts could have been photoshopped onto a wire frame model for as inspiring as those pics are. Of the 4 women's shirts in the pics I've had shirts that looked suprisingy like the 3 on the right....

@UrsiMajor compaired to him I'm extremely boring, unless he starts droning on about how the movie *Airbud* should have been cast with a goldendoodle instead of a golden retriever.

Mexico also has oil. And cheap labor. And produces lots of things. I see no down side here, we just need to be more honest about it.

Absolutely, and conquering Mexico is more cost effective than a boarder wall *PLUS* it solves the illegal Mexican quandry.

Distance does matter. It makes something that's tough to do with proximity even harder. Its more than doable, though, and there is one inherent advantage it does have - it forces you to talk about *everything*. Meet my wife on this site, did a 1500 mile LDR for a bit, moved there and got married....

Should the USA try to keep Muslims out of their country?

Any nation has the right to reject the followers of a treasonous ideology which advocates subversion of elected government and the establishment of a theocratic dictatorship.
1of5 replies on Nov 24, 2019:
And yet the religious right still exists and votes, dominating the Republican primaries and giving us shit for brain politicians that are perfectly happy supporting the shitstorm currently unfolding before our eyes, all while trying *without bothering to lie about it* to establish an xtian theocracy right here. So maybe if we can clean up our own cultures serious fuckups we can withstand the minority that are immigrants with the fucked up bits of culture they might have with them. If we can't then we need to shut the fuck up about how screwed up everyone else is.

There's a good chance only the base model is 2X4 (single engine version), with the next model up having 2 motors (1 per axle) and the deluxe having 3 motors (probably 1 motor for the rear axle and motors for each front wheel). With the right tires it should handle mud pretty damn well, I'd think, with computerized tradition control. Forget what kind of clearance it has. Body looks to be much more durable than a standard trucks, but it has lots and lots of fancy features to break. If I ever win the lottery I'm going to off-road a dual motor model 3 just to see if it can keep up with my buddies land cruisers. Probably won't, but it'd be fun to try. :)
