I was brought up in Anglican Church (Church of England). I distanced myself from all that and became very materialistic narcissistic in my 20's particularly. In my 30's I lived and worked in Maharishi European Sidhaland (Transcendental Meditation community in UK) for 5 years. During that time I also got heavily involved in Pentecostal Christianity (Assemblies of God) Church and Roman Catholic Church as well. Since 2007 I distanced myself from all that also and have explored Humanism (British Humanists Association) for a while. I remember during my time involved in Pentecostal Christianity a pastor told the apocryphal story "a member of the congregation once came up to me and said that they had tried lots of different churches but always came away disappointed
