Those earlier settlers apparently wanted to move away from the winter holidays pagan roots and reinvent as Christian fundamentalists. It is strange to me how modern Americans have reinterpreted Christmas into this vast commercial opportunity...

I loved Sponge Bob's endless optimism and Patrick's ridiculous stupidity. A friend of mine, when we were both Jehovah's Witnesses, told me Sponge Bob and Patrick were not good entertainment for children because there was a homosexual substrate to their conversations. Has anyone ever noticed this ...
Amisja replies on Nov 28, 2018:
@brentan wow you really have a problem with me don't you? Ok it doesn't matter if this child's cartoon had gay undertones or was totally out and proud...it is for children. If some people something deeper into it than that, then thats their issue. I remember reading a similar article about 'Dipsy' from the 'Teletubbies' (a programme ostensibly for babies!) Sexuality is an adult concern, children of whatever stripe, should be allowed to be children.

Oh, this guy for sure! "Widow/er" is the way this site presents the option for status, but being a widower is very common among the scammers. How about this from the end of his profile: "In my Silver years a seasoned temperament and quick wit have provided people skills though I avoid ...

Poor English, bland comments. Pic is of a young woman (30 tops) claims to be 42. That naming style (random words followed by numbers) very little in the way of a bio.

@Beowulfsfriend There are strict laws about measurements. It might be the 'half pint' glass you refer to.
