I am Jewish by birth, but was not raised religiously. I have difficulty with the concept of praying to someone to save you who may not be there. I also find religoin to be divisive both historically and in the present. I will write more later. I am a widowed, retired psychologist. As an undergraduate I started put as a physics major, but fell in love with the himanities and scorched majors to Anthropology with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology. Found the gene is and diversity of religions across cultures particularly interesting in the manner that they were inbedded in the basic needs and survival of the group.
