I have found a few gel products that work for me, the best & cheapest one for black men I got at a dollar store...not sticky at all after it dries (quickly). Try putting a bit of talcum powder on your palms & fluffing it gently into your hair as a last step...around a teaspoon or 2, adds tons of volume!
