I think it might be nobody's business except the nursing home has to report.......When I would take out my frail, dementia-but-happy Mom for a doctor's appointment, after she grew too tired/confused to go to a restaurant, I would get her favorite, KFC, and park somewhere with a view. Upon return the nurse would ask what she ate, and give me a Very dirty look when I replied truthfully. She was 93, pace-maker, diabetes, broken hip poorly healed, and of her 4 children, only (barely) remembered me, FFS! If I could have brought her KFC every single day I would have, but probably get reported for abuse & banned.
