In addition they are aggressive to other bird species running them off their nests, & quite dangerous to small children & dogs! People allow their kids to feed them & when the kid runs out of the food, the swans have been known to attack with that long neck & large hard beaks, whipping it onto the kid's face & beating on them with powerful wings. We had a 6-month old Lab puppy peacefully swimming & a swan got on its back trying to drown it & beating on it as described above...it was swimming Away (about 30 yards!) from the swan when the attack happened & my husband had a hard time rescuing the pup! A friend's wife died after 5 bouts of cancer (spreading somewhere else each time) over about 15 years, he was over 3 MILLION in debt, a working man and with kids) despite having what was considered "very good" medical insurance through his job (20% copay of a Jillian adds up!). He was able to talk the hospitals, etc into taking "only" about half a million, and took 2 more jobs to pay it all off over several years. One of the very best things about Obama care is the $6000/year cap on indebtedness! Which, may you never have to find out about!

Throw it away? Once they have figured it out it will keep them occupied with minimal supervision for Hours, you can work off your phone nearby. For example, in this area there was a little boy who had been put through 16 (!!!!) surgeries before the age of 2 & they were running fundraisers so he could have more!
