when I became the first woman to work alongside 20,000 + men in a nuclear submarine building facility (Benefits! Good wages!) I had to do a lot of "teaching". Many if not most of management didn't want women there, nor did many of the men (and for sure their wives!) So sometimes confrontations happened, sometimes i got set up to fail, or look stupid, or got cornered (especially after liquid lunches!) by guys whose judgement was lacking, even egged-on by others. Public embarrassment was a Huge tool for me...if I could loudly call out one idiot at the time-clock line,a lot of others wised up! I never ran to HR for "help poor little me". Nor did I ever blanket condemn them, in the end the majority accepted, even liked me because I stood up for myself. I worked there 13 years & rose to Supervisor ,at one time over 40 people. I suggest you stop looking for hatred & focus on yourself & what you need out of life, consider the "source" of those dick pix & block the sender...i Needed a good job with benefits, i did not have the luxury of wailing about my situation...you do!
