None of these varieties, but many. They're all easy to grow around here. I would believe it'd be possible in Oregon as well. Are you into dark? Goth perhaps?

AstralSmoke comments on May 31, 2018:
It depends, usually between 6 and 7. If I sleep past 8:00, I feel like I have wasted the better part of the day. I've also been known to stay up all day, night and day, but that's a killer.

AstralSmoke comments on May 30, 2018:
I did a quick wiki lookup. The males are day moths and the females are night moths. They only have a few hours to mate. First come first serve boys. The male moth has been observed to 'smell' the pheromone release up to 23 miles, which is a several day fly time. The pretty one's the girl! The males resemble a poisonous pipevine moth? FYIs!

I believe it's true in general, politicians never have and never will be concerned about what the common man has to endure. If they can get people to do the same task for less money, why not? Divide and conquer is a tried and tested approach when in power.

I would so much love to plant milkweed, been wanting to for a while.
AstralSmoke comments on May 29, 2018:
I would dig the blackberries out of ~3' diameter holes, scattered wherever. Sow the milkweed seed in the fall. Cover loosely with straw. Don't mow these circles in the spring, but mow the rest of the blackberries (if you choose). The blackberries will spread into these circles but not before the milkweed has a chance to grow and seed. Blackberry roots are pretty deep and milkweed roots are not so deep, so they should work fine together. You will even have some blackberries around the 4th of July. You can also prune blackberries to around 4' to keep them a bit more manageable.

AstralSmoke comments on May 28, 2018:
Your stance on these issues fall on the correct side, but atheism is a non-acceptance of a god; it's not a club. Just because they have one thing in common with you doesn't mean they will share any other commonalities with you. An atheist can be a bigot, a humanist cannot.

Lawns aren't a new obsession. Most lawns around our house have been here 70+ years. The newer obsession is spraying pesticides and herbicides. But the lots are getting smaller and the houses are getting larger, so there is less space for grass. I'll take the good and endure the bad.
