@Petter I'll keep working on it.
A celebration of inequality.

What do you propose that we can do to alter the imbalance?
AstralSmoke replies on May 19, 2018:
@Ellatynemouth That would be a start.
How great of a role does appearance play when looking for a partner?
Meiliken comments on May 19, 2018:
Only animals worry about appearance. Properly evolved humans would base their connections on substance.
AstralSmoke replies on May 19, 2018:
Unfortunately I guess, I’m still an animal.
Anyone doing anything nice this weekend?
MARDUK comments on May 19, 2018:
Nothing and some more nothing! LOL. I bet some people go to church! So silly.
AstralSmoke replies on May 19, 2018:
Nothing sounds relaxing, but how do you actually do nothing?

For me, it means more than I wish it did. Now that I'm older, and divorced, my skill at spotting the prettiest woman in the room is pretty useless, because almost always, they are too young for me. I've got to adjust my settings for the age I actually am, rather than the age I can imagine myself to ...
AstralSmoke replies on May 19, 2018:
I went through a short, but similar phase myself. I’m still young (and somewhat immature) in my head, but my body didn’t follow my delusion. Had to add the years up in my head and recalculate my logarithm.

They forgot to include the really important stuff like wash the dishes, clean the bathroom, go grocery shopping, or cook a meal without being asked to......those are my turn ons.
AstralSmoke replies on May 19, 2018:
@patchoullijulie I guess I'd have to say no about the pope then. I can't think of any romantic chores that I do, although I do like having a clean bathroom, floors, dishes, and a homecooked meal. I believe we are of the same generation unless of course, they've shortened the term limits.
Artist unknown (Olmec, Mesoamerica) mask, 900-300 BCE.
FrayedBear comments on May 19, 2018:
Curious that the mask, because of lack of a forehead to crown curve requires a strap over or around the head if it is worn whilst upright. Therefore is this perhaps a death mask only placed on the horizontal face or does it have provision for attachments at the rear? It is certainly fine stonework ...

Those are just chores. Is there such a thing as a romantic chore?

AstralSmoke comments on May 19, 2018:
I've never considered myself the 'romantic' type, but I like to do things for people and sometimes appreciate it when someone does something for me. I really don't want the last piece of cake though.

How do we stop separatists?
AstralSmoke comments on May 18, 2018:
Yes! We need to change our political leaders. There is no way they represent the majority of us.
AstralSmoke replies on May 18, 2018:
@girlwithsmiles Me either, but there are some local 'politicians' I back. Unfortunately, none of them won in the last election. I don't give up hope, although it seems hopeless at times.

What's your stance on TNR?
LiterateHiker comments on May 17, 2018:
What does "TNR" mean? I speak English, not Acronym.
AstralSmoke replies on May 17, 2018:
Trap, neuter, release. It's a political step to appease two parties. One loves cats at all costs to other critters, the other doesn't like feral cats roaming the city. I apologize. I hate it when people assume things.
We had a great stamp club meeting last night (May 16).
AstralSmoke comments on May 17, 2018:
Are you a stamp collector?
AstralSmoke replies on May 17, 2018:
@pixiedust I like coins, but I'm not a serious collector. One of my grandfathers collected stamps. When he died he had tons of shoeboxes full of stamps. I think my grandmother sold the collection for $40,000, which I thought was a low price, but I wasn't the one trying to get rid of them.
What's your stance on TNR?
pixiedust comments on May 17, 2018:
We have TNR where I live, but only in managed, community cat colonies. It has helped to significantly reduce the number of feral cats in the city. Community cats are provided with shelter, food and water. Veterinary care is also provided, if necessary and if the cat can be trapped. In return, the...
AstralSmoke replies on May 17, 2018:
@pixiedust I'm glad to hear that. I grew up in the country and we always let our cat out and it too was bringing us gifts. I'm a little more mature now. I love cats and all sorts of animals and have learned that cats should be house cats, not outdoor cats.
