ANN is dedicated to atheists that have already come to the conclusion that the theology debate is over. It's time to move past any religious hold on society and promote the overwhelming amount of positive benefits of a secular, humanist and atheistic life.
ANN hopes to send a clear message to the major media outlets that secular activities and governments are more important to us than religious ones. When the news is full of the violence and atrocities of religious institutions it is the secular news that holds the moral high ground and that can inspire people rather than segregate them. And there is no doubt about it when atheist and secular articles and web pages get more readers the media will start writing and promoting more of them.
