I am an atheist Science Teacher. This is a big part of my identity. As atheists, we ask, "what can I do to spread logic and rational thought, and steer people away from the poison of religion?"

Well, it's part of my friggin' job description. I was recently asked, "when are we ever going to have to know this stuff?", which is the standard ignorant middle school question about anything.
