Yes, I also have had a similar personal growth path.And much of what you stated I understand. I try to allow each individual the space & opportunity to be friends,, while maintaining my boundaries. For instance at work- I befriend ALL and try to be courteous but I will not be doing extraordinary favors until I understand who they are! I recently almost felt anger at a mentor laughing and really enjoying my difficulties with learning an aspect of a assignment. So it goes both ways- we must trust our judgement of interactions which occur. And the person's intent or incidental motive. For some (egotists) it's a game- a game they will always win. For me lies and manipulation are frustrating. The truth and facts are a good foundation for future strength and growth. Thanks

I watched some philosophy debates-alot of evidence is pushing in the NO direction . From the idea of who and where you are born to what will be asked of you and when. I tend to agree with the premise that freewill is curtailed or near non-existent. We as a culture like to tout it, but the more immediate constraints (location;age ;background;genes;ECT.) restrict individual objectives. Good post!

As we are not born religious-we are taught the precepts. And like a journey, one isn't there in 1 step. Individuals are all differently affected to different depths/the same with free thought. First you loose the building(affirmation of beliefs); then you clarify some facts - one way or the other. People should NOT fear knowledge, so by learning about religion and over time getting more understanding of how it effected ourselves,we remove it's impact. Part of a trend - that the end justifies the means. Look how they refused to vote on Obama's nominee. That is written in the constitution, that a vote was required. I see "regular law & the constitution" under attack, while extraordinary "over reach" reach like the definition of the start of life(to stop abortion here in Pennsylvania)being redifined. The medical experts are aghast at this "power of definition" RE WRITE ! If the definitions don't promote their agenda ,they change them. I have expierenced similar reactions/ responses from others around around me ( especially in my earlier years). If I knew the person ,it would sorta leave me baffled and a gap in the relationship. It seems also people get a "boost"by thinking gods on my side or this "trial" will strengthen me. It always ( as you pointed out )seemed to be lopsided in the fact that the result did not actually be benifit the person; and the situation had no particular rarity.
