I agree that Teslas are an amazing achievement. I just don't require that level of sophistication and complication. I think a very simple EV for the masses is a viable concept. Something along the lines of the old VW Bug, which is perfect for conversion because it is light weight and simple. There is no reason a $10K EV could not be a success in the U.S. It just needs to have sampled Dodge Charger 'exhaust notes' pumped through the sound system.

Yes, there are options for healthy and ethically raised livestock. Though I don't eat any meat, I am a big fan of Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm and his practices. I was of course referring to the meat produced by CAFO's that are damaging to both the environment and people's health. As the 'plant based diet' movement grows, the options are getting better all of the time. Trader Joe's has some excellent meatless patties.

It is my opinion, that outdoors there is very little chance of transmission between passers by that are not coughing or sneezing. I don't wear a mask when hiking, biking, or sailing. If people have concerns due to health issues, they can isolate themselves as much as possible. When it is not possible they can wear a face shield and a surgical paper mask or N95 for near 100% protection. Those not living in fear can go about their lives. .

So far, it has been working fine for me. I have gone about my business as usual. I have been getting out and kayaking, sailing, hiking etc....I use public restrooms and showers daily, so I have undoubtedly had exposure to whatever virus is out there. I wear a mask when it is required. I eat a very healthy diet, and take specific supplements to boost my immunity.

Once again, Elon Musk comes through with the right tool for the job.

I am fairly certain, that by now, nearly everyone has been exposed. This virus may have been around since the the beginning of the year, long before it was identified and any steps were taken to prevent its spread. I use public restrooms and showers daily. I have undoubtedly been exposed. My approach is to maintain my immune system through diet and vitamin supplements if needed. If I feel something coming on, I eat raw garlic and ginger and lots of citrus fruit until I am sure it has passed.

A majority of healthy people, with no underlying health conditions, will have very little or no reaction at all to exposure to this virus. You can develop and maintain a strong immune system through proper diet and healthful living. That is the approach I have always taken.

There is nothing wrong with a 100% raw food diet. It makes sense from the stand point that heat destroys most nutrients. I personally would not eat raw meat, but millions of people eat rare steaks or raw fish regularly.
