seeing that we do not get hurricanes on the West coast, where was this taken? and I guess as photographer you were on another boat, alongside?
BDair replies on Dec 2, 2019:
'Hurricane Gulch' is the nickname of the upper L.A. Harbor. It is typically the windiest spot in Southern CA. I took the photo from another boat.

I was wondering if a BBQ qualifies as a burnt offering that is pleasing to the Lord.

Geez! How old is this advertisement?🤨 Pretty sexist and stupid to think a woman has to do all cooking and cleaning and wait for big daddy’s permission to get a new appliance! 🤬
BDair replies on Nov 27, 2019:
Yes it is. It is from an online collection of vintage sexist ads, many of which are pretty shocking today.
There is No 'Side B'.

Beautiful. I was unfamiliar with this island, suspected that it is part of the Channel Islands, and confirmed that it is. Never visited any of those islands, but intrigued by the geology and yes, continuation of Coast Range and another one, forget which. Very interesting!
BDair replies on Nov 19, 2019:
Yes, it is one of the Northern Channel Islands, and it has the most interesting geology of all.
