I know it is of little consolation, but this is not an American problem. I read the French newspaper Le Monde and France is in the middle of a major educational crisis, as bad if not worse than ours. They are so short on qualified teachers they are putting people in teaching positions with a minimal amount of education. Even the universities are having problems filling teachers. The medical field is almost as bad, with a flood of professional leaving hospitals and other medical facilities at alarming rates. I have no idea if the problem is throughout Europe or just in France, but it does not bode well for our world's future .

I have led an interesting life, seen much of the western world, had love, passed on my genes to the future with my son and grandsons. I have little I need, less that I want at this stage. I am open to the possibility of being with someone, but not obsessed with the idea. I take life one day at a time as it comes along, and that works well for me.
