As an old English teacher and enjoyer of words, I welcome additions. I will say, I believe we are due to change the names of the time periods of the English language. We have old English, Middle English, which I can read with a 40 word cheat sheet, and modern English that began in the 1500's. How many kids, people can read Shakespeare without a guide anymore? And yes, I can, and love it, but when teaching I would have to explain word meanings from his time.

I have had hardships along the way, but life has held for me many interesting encounters. Many good and not so good memories, but they are mine. I don't regret the choices I made in a different time. I have matured and still have decisions to make. I have a girlfriend after 7 years of simply being by myself. She is a great, good woman I met here, very intelligent. Having been an educator, I have found school boards and administration are most likely to screw things up. Lack of parental support is close behind. And I have experienced the big three: public; parochial (yep, trying telling a Catholic they can't use emotion to write a persuasive essay when they want to hit on abortion); and private prep. Also, some time at the college level. Private schools have the most parent involvement. Still, at all levels I have seen administrations really screw up. True story: I was yelled at for reporting sexual abuse. Told the boss to shut up and follow legal protocol. He did; guy got five years; boss apologized for getting emotional, for what that is worth.

So I gave them some history starting in the 13 or14 hundreds as non Trinitarians. At which point they are like we are long lost cousins. Uh, no, and even in Romania where the Unitarians haven't joined the Universalists, and still consider themselves Christian, they would gag at being compared to a Jehovah's Witness.

I'm visiting Seattle right now. It isn't that bad but it is growing annoying and making people sick. Quite a number of people are wearing masks. Also, at the hostel someone stuck a fan in a downstairs kitchen window and sitting there until told to get it out because it was sucking in smoke. Walking around reminds me of standing at the door of a smoking bar; the smell is slowly cloeing your way.

I don't bother with 10k earthers or climate deniers. I have had some discussion with people who believe the climate is changing and don't want to spend the money or time to fix it. I'll give any one 5 to 1 odds that once Trump leaves the White House, if alive, he changes his tune on climate change and wants the government to pay for breaker walls to protect his precious Mar a Lago.

Having held a top secret clearance, the number of people involved would have to be too many. Now, after the attack, I believe some cover ups occurred to help the money men. Remember most of the attackers were Saudis. And the only non military flight during the 3? days after was a flight authorized by Bush to leave the country with about 250 Saudis citizens. And to defend my now maligned colleagues in intelligence before Bush invaded Iraq, I want it known most did not find anything and essentially Bush used a minority of reports over the general consensus.
