Beowulfsfriend replies on Jan 1, 2019:
@RavenCT before a restraining order, in most cases, you should send a cease and desist, in most cases. As a cease and desist holds no full legal power, it is a precursor to a restraining order, you can write one yourself and save 250 $ in lawyer fees. Then, if that doesn't work get a legal restraining order (some places, if violence is not threatened want a c and d first). Do a CC at the letter's end of all the people or groups you send it to: the person, the POLICE (Who will log it in. - I dropped mine off), lawyer, if applicable, etc.

@thinktwice I worked with Families United, boys in Lancaster. They have a very large female facility up North. Our kids were not dangerous, miner offenders and between the ages of 14 and 21. Actually, to clarify, not all were offenders, as some were put in court ordered custody because of family situations. We seldom had someone under 16, for the males. We had one boy placed there due to family. He did everything required: school, a job (or activities). He finished high school and 3 years of college (on the state's dime). Anyway, the idea was that at those ages the brain could begin to make better choices. If they didn't "choose wisely" they faced negative consequences. It mostly worked well. We had our moments. The idea of the therapy puts the onerous on the person and not the situation.

Pretty obviously you don't start a war unless you think you are going to win it. However as a casual observer it seems to me that the South's strategy was all wrong. They didn't need to win, they only needed to not loose. Not loosing would have been best achieved by fighting a defensive war. ...

Not so obvious. The Confederacy never expected a win. They were fighting for a stalemate and then some sort of negotiations (for some independence, for many reunification with slavery) Many Texas lawmakers, especially, knew the cost of going it alone.

@Renickulous the wall is an exoendive boondoggle which trump uses to ehip up the base. The Obama administration put forth s comprehensive bill thstvwould havevexpsnded fencing, drone coverage, and electronic monitoring of movement along The border, and, mist importantly, added 38000 new border agents. The republicans nixed it. Also, remember that Obama's nickname was deporter In chief. Trump is just starting to catch up In numbers, mostly with the low hanging fruit or so called good guy grandmother types. The majority of illegal aliens come here on hb1 and student visas then don't leave. All 911 terrorists came that way. 16 Saudis. Businesses, like Trump hotels. Don't want to stop this as it saves them money. And colleges get full tuition up front. Humanitarian refugees take two years to get accepted. No one wishing to do damage waits thatvkong, especially when they are well funded (mostly from Wahhabbies, but that his another rant against our bestest friends the Saudis)

Chimps are cannibals.
