Well, I'm in Florida, and I posted the thing because it pissed me off, DeSantis is a "tool" as someone wrote in response to another posting. But, I will tell you, that coming from another place that I never thought I'd move to (being from NYC), New Jersey (more than 30 years there) I saw a school budget shot down, fiercely, by a town that includes numerous 55+ communities, but is growing in family population at a fast pace, nonetheless. Every damned bit of forested land, and there isn't much, is being ripped up for townhouses, and now the kids in the Middle school, are taking classes in trailers, as well as regular classrooms. So, that's not just Florida's issue.
