I was born and have lived my whole life in Florida, but I spend several months each year in California, North Carolina, and England. In my youth, I was religious, raised a Baptist, but I grew up and wised up, so dropped the church stuff, but because I have few local friends--well, none, truly-- who are not Christians, I go to an occasional service when someone I care about invites me. I do love the music. My late partner John, whom I met on this site, used to like to go to what he called happy-clappy churches. It was a good way to meet people.
