I am retired from careers in advertising/public relations and print and radio journalism. I raised my children in the Midwest, spending decades in Iowa, then traveled in a motorhome extensively, and then lived and worked in Austin, Texas and Taos, New Mexico.

I moved from Taos to Tallahassee to be near my daughter and then she promptly got her dream job and she moved to Washington, DC. I have been extremely active in my community and have made a lot of friends in Tallahassee.

I have been living in a senior independent apartment facility for the past 18 months. I find it quite isolating, which is okay during a pandemic but not so great the rest of the time.
