I'm at the point where I don't even bother trying to debate Christians and other religious people about the existence of God anymore. They're so predictable. Mostly, because I was a Christian as a child and I know the rigorous brainwashing they go through from a very young age. My own journey to non-belief took several years and stages. Luckily I've always had a skeptical and inquisitive nature. It struck me in my teenage years; "Why do all of these other people believe just as strongly in their god?" which lead to a metric shit ton of reading and research on the subject, and ultimately, the conclusion that we are all there is, but I find that no less amazing that we are.
