I have a book about it. It’s titled Conscious Dating. They recommend what you’re doing, calling it casual dating. The book says you don’t want to be considered “in a relationship” with somebody you’re just getting to know and decide about and miss out on someone else who is a better match to you. When you get to the point you want to formalize it with one person, you should make that as a conscious step between you two and then you would need to inform anyone else you’ve been seeing
