Budgie comments on Mar 30, 2020:
Stunning views although as I am not good with heights the second one made my stomach turn. So well done you for getting the right angles etc to make it visually stomach turning. (sorry no matter how I wrote that it seemed wrong this is the fifth iteration of that sentence I think you should be proud of the fact it made my stomach think I was there. )

This is such a powerful photo.

I recall reading that when food drops were made to the camp the adults let the children eat whatever came even if it was canned ham. They knew the children needed food. Can not imagine what it must have been like to be fearing for your life and then be told you are safe.

If he is using public transport to get to Tamworth then he is a risk. There needs to be a hotel near the airport that becomes a quaratine zone. From the plane to the hotel on a bus ie disload onto the tarmac and get straight on the bus. Into rooms at the hotel and that is where they stay. No coming out, a menu choice for meals for their 14 days luggage can be delivered to them when it is deemed safe to bring it to them, family members can drop off supplies for them. Hotel can be reimbursed at 100 a day per room as they will not need to have cleaners (you can live with the same towel and sheets for 14 days and the rooms can all have 5 rolls of toilet paper for the duration.) the only staff would be cooks and a person to deliver like a hospital. And a guard on each floor or cctv on each hallway to ensure they stick to the rules. Much safer than allowing people to travel anyway they like to their homes before self isolating.

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Graham was the only original member but the drummer would have been at the concert in Brisbane I saw as a kid. Graham signed my book for me (I was lucky enough to bump into the tour manager as the merch desk) A Roadie gave me Graham's copy of the song list. I have asked the center if it is possible to get the advertising banner. Once the cheeky started it did not stop. Also a couple of friends were with me and one got some vid on his phone which he will send to me later.

A moment of truth
Budgie comments on Feb 29, 2020:
There was a TV show based around this. I can't remember what it was called and I only saw one or two episodes. Basically a group of people saw a message and the lead guy picked one person because of how he interpreted the message he saw "God is now here." while the others saw "God is no where." Okay got curious looked it up it was called Miracles and yes had a religious slant to it so probably why I never watched a lot of it.
What is your take on Principles . What is your Principal principle?
Budgie comments on Feb 29, 2020:
My thoughts are basically be as kind as you can, don't deliberately try to mess up someone's life, look out for those that can not look out for themselves. Oh and Dance like no one is watching!

This one takes me back to a speciific night in Adelaide some friends and I were on a Scouting camp, there was a disco on the top of a carpark in the city centre. We were camped on a Racetrack and there was a heatwave. The showers just had cold water but if you aimed them at the tin roof the water came down warm. This song was one played at the disco. From the little I know there are various forms of organic, depending on how hard you are prepared to work at it. It can be the simple growing different crops and tilling the plants back into the ground with ducks to keep the bugs down and provide some extra nutrients. To biodynamic which seems to involve a bit of mystic vibration of the cosmos apparently, https://blog.agrihomegh.com/organic-farming-types-principles/ https://biodynamics.net.au/what-are-the-biodynamic-preparations/ Personally I feel that organic is a bit kinder to the environment (I do not believe that the food tastes better) and would be cheaper than paying a company for their product each year. As I grew up in an area where the "fogger truck" would come by as we stood at the bus stop waiting for the school bus (spraying a chemical into the air to get rid of the mosquitoes) I can still to this day taste that chemical in my mouth when I feel ill. I believe the chemical they used has since been banned for use in Australia. I am reluctant to use those types of products I would rather lose a few plants/crops to bugs. I have a composter for anything the chickens do not eat. I am trying for a worm farm but it is hot here and you can lose them all when the ambient temperature gets too hot. For large scale production there are these areas being researched https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2013/05/21/185758529/vertical-pinkhouses-the-future-of-urban-farming https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/wp/2015/06/30/the-worlds-most-beautiful-greenhouses-are-underwater-and-growing-strawberries/

Whew crisis averted went out and have some moves to learn. All good fun. Watched some of the others and by now had settled and when they started talking to me did not freak out and be all stupid and managed a conversation. Big breath, back home, bra off, watching Bean the movie comfort zone achieved.

Beautiful music but such a sad song. I feel for all the people trapped in this cycle of poverty. Love Tracy's songs, she has such a great voice and anyone who can sing with so little backing has my respect.
I don't think they thought that one through.
Budgie comments on Feb 19, 2020:
Oh dear! Although I suspect some of these are deliberate because people talk about them and share them. No such thing as bad advertising.

Good on you I have done that as well as going to the police and reporting a taxi that nearly took me off the road, (came out of a side road and I had to leave the road to avoid hitting it with my mother in the car I was not amused) On the other hand I have also rung a business when one of their drivers noticed a fire in my yard and rang it in. Always reward good and always bring to the attention of bosses when a driver is dangerous. I love going the speed limit (cruise control helps) if they get annoyed then it is their problem.
So it has taken me over 6 months but today I went to a group I have wanted to join up with, There ...
Budgie comments on Feb 15, 2020:
It is a medieval fighting group, they have a variety of swords and make their own armor and play at fighting. So this accident prone gumby is going to try not to maim someone or injure myself. It sort of helped that the first person I saw was someone who was in a few of my classes at uni and even if he did not recognise me I remembered him so bit of a relax there. Another was wearing a geeky t-shirt so I was not too out of my depth on subject matters.
Are introverts likely to be depressed?
Budgie comments on Feb 15, 2020:
I think of all of the "extroverts" who commit suicide and everyone comments on how happy they seemed. Introverts probably don't try to hide it while extroverts "put on a brave face" That said while I am introverted I can also be extroverted and am very good at hiding how I feel.
