You can also start by mixing ,,all purpose flour with water 3,4th by volume, so very liquidy, let it ferment, 24 hours , next day add them rest of the flour, keep it fairly moist, let it ferment another 24hours, The dough, will double or even triple in volume and continue from there. No yeast!

@IamNobody Sodoku can be done fairly quickly, so for a quick diversion that would be what I would choose. But it is not something that is going to increase my math skills. Except for recognizing certain patterns for solving Sudoku. Crosswords, though more time consuming. do have the benefit of increasing ones vocabulary.

I'm making a meat sauce. I saute garlic then and onions, celery once they are soft mushrooms. Set aside ground beef, and some skinned sausage. Drain fat. Add veggies. Simmer awhile. I then add a quality jarred sauce. I used to try and make the marinara but that is really time consuming and there are some really good choices in the jarred sauces now.

@Eldovis Where I grew up in the Ohio Valley, they have a very distinctive style of pizza. It is cooked square and cut square and served by the slice. The most well known and oldest is called Dicarlo's and I crave it. I found a recipe to near duplicate the sauce, but I would never be able to duplicate the crusty, yet chewy crust. It is one of the the specific taste memories I crave. And I did recently learn from a FB friend from the area that they found that Dicarlo's had opened a restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Which is just 4 hrs away instead of 12.

Usually am. I did watch "Get Out" shortly after it was available to stream. And "Our Darkest Hour" was another one I streamed fairly quickly. It starred both Gary Oldman and Ben Mendelsohn. Just sayin'.

@HotAlutiiq I rent, and I would not have much carpet if it were my own place. My landlady did allow me to have some tile in the space I've converted into a kitchenette area. She even allowed me to take the price off the cost of rent over a few months. It is a huge improvement, not only easing cleaning but it really lightens the space up and makes it look larger somehow.

@pixiedust I would put the "Choice" scene, in question, as one of the most disturbing I have ever watched. Many of the scenes from the original mini-series "Roots" also. That was so much more wrenching because they used well-beloved TV fathers from popular series to portray the most vicious and vile characters.
