I’m a hard-working single mom of one. I love to read and to listen to audio books. I just recently started a hobby of dream interpretations. It is interesting. I spend entirely too much time on laundry. I just recently found out I have food allergies, yeah, pretty much if it’s not salad or meat, I can’t eat it.

Have you ever thought yourself into a bad mood?
Butterflywndr comments:
Yes! It’s hard to turn the thoughts around, but important.
Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?
Butterflywndr comments:
I will die because factors will fail to diagnose whatever ailment I have until it’s too late. Fat shaming is very real and alive in the medical field.
Do you think tRump will shut down the Mueller investigation? Do you think he will stop the Mueller investigation report from reaching Congress?
Butterflywndr comments:
I think he will either try to shut it down, by whatever means necessary, or somehow have the report doctored to be in his favor, by whatever means necessary. It’s scary to contemplate. Nixon did a lot less and was impeached.
Elizabeth Warren submitted an interesting proposal last week. It is called the Accountable Capitalism Act... it would require all corporations over 1 billion in size to obtain a Federal Charter. The proposal wants to hold corporations as legal persons accountable for achieving social goals, versus their current orientation which is solely for the benefit of shareholders. Co-determination is an important part of her proposal. 40% of the directors in these corporations would be elected from the work force. A Federal Corporation would be able to take political sides if 75% of the worker and non worker directors agree. Interesting idea, already at play in some European countries like Germany. The articles I"ve read suggest that this proposal would redistribute trillions in wealth. It is not surprising that some conservative commentators are spitting up misreadings of the proposal.
Butterflywndr comments:
Sounds interesting. It could help with a lot of the issues.
Tomorrow we're going blackberry picking, apart from pie crumble and jam, what's good with blackberries?
Butterflywndr comments:
They are good with whipped cream, in a fruit salad, or with peanut butter and crackers
If ghosts are real, how come we never see any dinosaur ghosts? You would think that's something we should be concerned about.
Butterflywndr comments:
I don’t think ghosts are dead people, I think of them as an alternate realty seeping through. There might be a reality where dinosaurs are alive at the same time as humans, but it is probably too far removed to see a residual in this reality.
Audiobooks verse Regular Books
Butterflywndr comments:
I love to read, but I don’t always get a chance. I have found that I enjoy audiobooks, for the simple fact that I can enjoy a book and still do something else at the same time. There are times I have to rewind because I missed something, but I do that with reading too, if I somehow missed a change of character and what was said didn’t make sense. They aren’t for everyone, but they do make long drives a lot easier, my work day a lot more interesting, and make chores easier to get through.
Friday night and just got paid. And there's nobody to go do anything with. 😑
Butterflywndr comments:
I know the feeling.
https://wokesloth.com/parents-conflicted-over-this-ed-book-for-children/alexa/ Saw this on FB today. I'd love to hear your opinions on sex education at an early age.
Butterflywndr comments:
I think they should start early with age appropriate lessons. That’s a bit graphic. The Dutch have a really good system in schools. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/spring-fever
If a vegan restaurant opened in your area, would you go to it? Perhaps you've already ventured into such establishment(s) before. I've really only heard of a scattered amount of places near my area. Do you believe there's a demand for such places in or near your area?
Butterflywndr comments:
There has been a vegan restaurant open in my area for several years. They don’t really serve anything I would eat. Lots of tofu and “fake” meats made out of “natural” ingredients. The salads are decent, but it’s pricy and not very convenient.
Guacamole for me.
Butterflywndr comments:
Cilantro on/in anything. Tastes like soap.
Are handmade items a dying art?
Butterflywndr comments:
I never learned to sew. I just don’t have the patience for it. But, it would come in handy.

Scary! And probably worse to come.
So I have this crazy ass girl who lives next door, who I know in the biblical sense.. What I mean is I don't believe a God damn word that comes out her mouth!
Butterflywndr comments:
I hardly know any of my neighbors, but they gossip about me all the time. The last I heard they thought I was a lesbian. They need to get a life.
Phones.???
Butterflywndr comments:
Both. The landline is screened 100% of the time and is the number I use for all forms I need to fill out. My cell phone I only give to people I know and for job applications.
How sad for Aretha Franklin. I guess it's just a matter of time before she's gone I remember seeing her in concert in the 70s and she was awesome! Queen of Soul, you'll be missed
Butterflywndr comments:
She was amazing. She will be missed!
Isn't true? It's very easy to fall in love, to want all those feelings that come along with it....its not as easy to truly love someone, with all their faults, in times of weakness, after learning they may not be all you thought.
Butterflywndr comments:
Yes. I believe it is easy to fall in love, but not so easy to stay in love. Reality eventually comes to light and when reality doesn’t match the idea we have a hard time making it work. Especially when people change and aren’t on their best behavior anymore.
'In God We Trust' now must be displayed in all Florida schools - wptv.com
Butterflywndr comments:
That’s horrible!
When being sarcastic we almost always use the masculine derogatory statement (No shit Sherlock) Is this because men are cruder? What if we went around saying (Get a clue Nancy Drew) would this be gender profiling? Could include an androgynous statement like (That's the Facts Pat) {after the SNL androgynous personality Pat}.
Butterflywndr comments:
Never thought about it. We always say “no shit Sherlock” and the response is usually “keep digging Watson” it’s no fun when the other person doesn’t say the second part.
The most solid sign of becoming an adult is moving your bed to the center of the wall from the corner.
Butterflywndr comments:
True. Making the bed is easier now.
As a non theist, what are your top 3 political issues you would like to see addressed in the upcoming election?
Butterflywndr comments:
Climate change, regulating capitalism, ending lobbying
Are you skeptical of someone in their late 30s, 40s who has never been married? I worry more about this than someone who is divorced.
Butterflywndr comments:
I’m in my late thirties and I’ve never been married. I just haven’t found anyone that I’ve been willing to give up being single for. Also, I went through several years with very little social contact. Work and home. Hard to meet people that way. I have a kid, I was 29 when I got pregnant. She’s 9 now. I hadn’t dated before that for 5 or 6 years. I was too afraid to go through another crappy relationship. Quite honestly, I’d rather be single than in a crappy relationship or settling for being mistreated as I had before. It’s taken me a while to get to this point. Maybe someday there will be someone, but even then, not sure marriage is necessary.
Every morning I wake up wondering if I can go through the day without reading another ludicrous tweet from the jizz-trumpet in chief. Today was not one of those days: "When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me" So, you only hire the "best people" and when they turn out not to be, you keep them on as long as they kiss your ass? You let this person into the Situation Room with a recording device? I know, we are so numbed to the incompetence of this administration, nothing seems to surprise anymore, so I guess I will just shake my head and wait for tomorrow in hopes that there will either be no news or the news we have been waiting for.
Butterflywndr comments:
Just don’t hold your breath.
What kind of people or behaviour make you really angry?
Butterflywndr comments:
When I have to pick up the slack for someone and I’m already doing more than my fair share. (Happens at work all the time). Being lied to is a huge one. And, people not accepting responsibility for their own mistakes.
Do you see a time in the future when Religion will finally die out and disappear?
Butterflywndr comments:
I don’t see it happening. There are some people that truly “need” to believe or they can’t manage life. People want to feel as though there is a purpose to life and religion gives that to them. There are times when I was envious of their faith, that they could just let all their cares and worries go and let it be in”god’s hands”, however, I’m too firm of a believer that you have to work for what you want/get and that each person is responsible for their own actions.
