Would you share your weight loss journey on YouTube?
dkp93 comments on Jul 4, 2018:
I can't think of one single thing I would want to share on YouTube. I am so tired of this narcissist culture where people feel the need to share every little thought/event/activity with the entire world. The desire for validation has become obscene. And even worse are the haters and trolls who make ...

I think we all seek validation and feed off of positive feedback. There are different degrees of attention seeking. I also think that things like that could help inspire others that are struggling with their weight. I'm very glad there are YouTubers out there that share things...such as atheism. They helped me with my deconversion.
Well, my mom told me that she's going to keep praying for me...because I need it.

Because of your non faith? "Thanks Mom! That's wonderful.. if God hears prayer and truly loves you, he will answer your prayers."
Cabsmom replies on Jul 4, 2018:
Yes, she's concerned I'm going to hell. I told her I'm not afraid of hell.
One cannot be simultaneously an agnostic and an atheist.

While I agree with much of the sentiment you express, I think you really need to check your definitions. Yes, one can be both atheist and agnostic at the same time. Atheism is the lack of belief in deity. Agnosticism is simply the belief that one cannot (at least at this time) know for sure. Those ...

I agree. I call myself an atheist most of the time, but I'm really an agnostic and an atheist.

Interesting... I may send you a message. I'm a bit of an introvert but I am in your area. I may be interested in attending one of those meet-ups.

That would be great. I'll have to explore and see if that's something I can find in my area.
Cabsmom replies on Jun 29, 2018:
I would encourage you to look, because it can be really refreshing to meet work other non-believers.
I think weed should be totally legal all across the U.

I find it ludicrous that companies test for pot. It is so less harmful than the hard stuff that leaves your system faster. I'd rather deal with someone smoking pot than a drunk any day.

Damn. Why do you have to live in Texas?
Cabsmom replies on Jun 29, 2018:
I've been in Texas since I was six. Surprisingly I haven't had any negative feedback since I've come out of the atheist closet.
