Nope, there wouldn't be anyone to pray to. I actually would be looking forward to the "dirt nap". I am a very passionately curious person and I want to know what is on the other side of death. Non of us know the answer to that. Although I compare it to unplugging a running computer, there is only one way to find out. Also, if I'm on my deathbed, I'd want that situation to come to an end as quickly as possible. No point in living if your so close to death anyways.

If you cannot back up your claims/arguments with credible, documented evidence than there is no point in using said claims/arguments in a post.

You might want to talk to your doctor about what your feeling and experiencing. This medication might not be working for you. I was put on a medication and it felt like I was put on the sidelines while someone else lived my life. It was wierd. It was mean and aggressive and I felt like I couldn't do anything about it. I did what I could so that I wouldn't do something I would regret, but yeah, that medication was not for me.

It might be a human thing. For example, you don't notice any of the common smells that are mostly around you but someone else will notice them. Also, if you move to a house not far from train tracks, after a while you'll barely notice when a train goes by. I think it might be the same with other people. The longer your around them, the more complacent you become. While this trait helped us to survive way back when, we haven't evolved past it yet. Maybe it still serves a purpose and that means you have to work towards not falling into a complacent pattern.

I'm do sorry to hear about what you are going through. I can only imagine what it must be like. You've done your part to the best of your ability. Find ways to enjoy her company for what ever time she has left. I would think that she is doing what she is doing because she is facing something outside of her control. Just let her know she is loved and appreciated and that you will always remember her in your heart. No one wants to lose a loved one, but it is inevitable. Make the remaining time as special as possible.
