@Athena Not too bad then. For the driving, my car can register in MPH or KPH. I thought that was pretty interesting. I do like your currency. It is more colorful. I still have some 1 and 2 coins from when I went to Toronto. I am kind of glad that learning French would not be as crucial, bit I am open to learning a new language. I really do appreciate all the insight that you, and everyone else, have given me.

@Athena It is such a great city. I want to live in a norther Toronto suburb if I am ever able to relocate. I figure that with an Aviation background I could either work at the airport, one of the airlines, or one of the several charter/corporate aircraft operators in the area. Converting to metric would be a small hurdle at first.

Captain747ex replies on Jul 16, 2018:
@Athena I will agree Americans are rather self centered to the point of willful ignorance. I may not fully understand the parliamentary system of government or know all your political parties. I do know that Justin Trudeau is the son of former prime Minister Pierre Trudeau who, if I'm not mistaken, has at least one airport named after him. Canada has a long and proud history going back to at least the 1700s with colonization by the French and the British Beginning with the French fur traders. Quebec is still very French than the rest of Canada and is a reason why Canada has two official languages, French and English. Canada changed hands between the French and the British several times over its history and successfully repelled two invasions by the United States, once while the US was still a British colony during the, I want to say, the French-Indian War, being apart of a conflict between the British and the French. The other time was during the war of 1812 which was the catalyst for the burning of Washington DC by the British in retaliation for our invasion. As for provinces, there are, I could be wrong, but 5 provinces and 2 territories. I'm not sure if Labrador and Newfoundland are together or not or if I'm just missing one. Well, I was way off. I'll admit I cheated, because you're right, Americans don't know much about anything beyond our borders. There are ten provinces and three territories. But I kind of got Labrador and newfoundland right. I will admit that I don't know as much about Canada as you know about the US. I will have to do some learning. However, it is sad that not even American citizens know much about their own country. That is very sad indeed. That's why I'd rather be a part of a country that uses its tax dollars for the benefit of they many instead of the few and the military. I may not know the most about Canada but I do know some things and will admit that I need to learn more. Thank you for pointing this out. I will educate myself on this topic.

Interesting how many men are saying they've never had bad sex or bad sex is better than no sex.
Captain747ex replies on Jul 14, 2018:
Yes, that is the huge difference between the male and female orgasm. A guy can get off with little to no difficulty, but women have a much more difficult time. Not too sure why that is. It's also why I feel men need to be better in tune with their partner and have a better understanding of the female body and how she reaches climax. I once thought that it was an insult that a woman would need to stimulate her clitorus to reach orgasm. I took it as I wasn't doing enough until I learned that a great majority of women need clitoral stimulation in order to climax. With better understanding, I now am able to please my partner better and I take pleasure from knowing she has a better chance of reaching climax. Have the woman finish first in my opinion.

@CarolinaGirl60 That is why I feel men should work to understand more about women. We have no idea that we can act like a battering ram. We should also be more open to input from our female partners instead of taking it personally. I am a very curious person and want to understand what a woman feels because I will never experience it. Men can be too insecure and mostly about petty things. Society has not done anything good for men when a man cannot show emotions for fear of being unmanly. Don't get me wrong, society has been downright horrible to women and girls, telling you how to look and act. It's just wrong. No, I would much rather think of my partner, putting her pleasure above my own. I just think that a lot of men would frown upon making themselves feel subservient to a woman.

@CarolinaGirl60 I get what you're saying. Definitely the part about pain. The pain would not be worth it. Also, having someone who has no clue as what they are doing and refuses to take advice would be bad. However, my stance was accepting bad sex over nothing was when extreme sexual frustration had set in and nothing else is working. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me sometimes you just need to feel the skin of another person pressed against yours. If you are already extremely sexually frustrated, something would be better than holding your present course. I do get what youre saying, I wouldn't pick bad sex first. But when desperate enough, it seems like a better option than nothing at all.

Captain747ex replies on Jul 14, 2018:
@nutrition_nerd I get what you're saying. That's why I started with defining bad sex. I envisioned the term bad sex as meaning having no passion, one side only focused on themselves. Basically two people working towards a common goal but not working together to achieve it. I would imagine that not being able to get off would be more a problem for women than for men, which I think is really unfortunate. So, I guess from a male's perspective, or at least my perspective, getting something, even if it is bad, is better than nothing at all when extreme sexual frustration sets in. At that point what is there to lose? I enjoy pleasuring just as much as being pleasured and I would want to know that my partner, whoever she may be, is enjoying everything I am doing and make sure she finishes, preferably first in my opinion.
