I can relate. I would agree with others here and recommend talking with a counselor about this. I can definitely understand where you are coming from and am concerned, not only by its level but also that it seems to be getting worse. I would also recommend to take a break from trying to find a significant other at this point in time until you can work out your frustrations. Talk to someone that can help you get through this period in your life and focus on making you a better version of you.

I can somewhat relate. I put on a facade but in reality there are days I barely hold things together. I try to do everything that is expected of me and hardly put myself first. I've been used by people and been told by employers that I'm not doing well enough and need to improve when I felt I was doing what was right. Those talks in the various offices haunt me to this day to the point that I feel that I must do everything perfectly. Anything short of perfection is failure. I give the appearance that I am strong and holding things together, but inside I'm struggling to keep things together for fear that I will be told I'm not good enough again. It may not be the same as what you are describing, but I can understand where you are coming from.

Most often I don't feel comfortable enough to say what is really on my mind, therefore, I tend to keep most of everything inside, away from prying eyes. Just one zero? Doesn't seem worthwhile to add it to anything. It wouldn't help me financially, I don't want to live to around 700 or 800 years, and anything else just doesn't seem worth it. There are many things that I regret and would do differently if I had the chance. But then I wonder, if I were able to change these things, would I have done the things that I did enjoy as a result of these decisions? I would not change a single thing if that meant that I would not have been able to work at the Kalamazoo airport working the flight line. Those were the best 4 years of my life.

I use the Breeze system by Tidy Cat. It works pretty well for me. There is an absorbant pad liner that goes in the tray on the bottom and odor absorbing pellets for the litter. Just scoop the poop daily and and change the pads weekly. You can get pads for it on Amazon that are cheaper than the Tidy Cat version.

I agree with you. I understand that men are visual, that they just need to see a scantily clothed woman and he gets turned on, of course not all men. It seems very primitive to me that we try to entice men with women in bikinis to sell products. A woman should be revered and not looked at like a piece of meat. Lusting after her body may do it for the short term, but that doesn't leave anything left for the long term. Get to know the woman on a personal level, learn about her deepest hopes, dreams, and fears. Get to know her mind. Using women to push a product just adds to the inequality of women. Women are people too and should be treated as such. Conversely, it should be the same for men. While women tend to be more feeling, they do enjoy a good piece of eye candy like the guys do. But is it necessary to reduce a man to a piece of meat as well? We have a long way to go to move away from this primitive thinking, but it is so ingrained in our DNA that it will be a very hard process to overcome. However, in the process, we will become closer as a society and better off for it.
