Update - several people responded to a post a couple of weeks ago about visiting my ex’s family.
Carin comments on Aug 13, 2018:
Since it sounds like you have kids together, you can't just ghost him, but if I were you I'd try to ignore messages from him as much as possible or give short, disinterested sounding responses. Did you think about blocking him on Facebook? Your social life is none of his business any more. ...
Carin replies on Aug 13, 2018:
@A2Jennifer Why do you want to communicate with him?
None of you are real right?
Carin comments on Aug 13, 2018:
Hi! I'll be awake a bit longer. I'm probably real but no promises.
Carin replies on Aug 13, 2018:
@Jdkglobal I'll give it another try!
When you first saw The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, which did you want to see emerge victorious?

That is when you're home.

I think good manners are even more important at home. Those people have to put up with you all the time, long term.

Carin replies on Aug 13, 2018:
They look like the kind of hemp they grow for fiber. Quite a pretty scene, huh?

That would be almost immediately fatal!

Right now my freezer is full of deer, prawn and salmon I caught/hunted. Crab I like to eat fresh. I stopped gardening and canning and freezing due to time. So ya it would take an adjustment but I could make it here in BC. Longer winters and no ocean not so confident
Carin replies on Aug 10, 2018:
@azzow2 We stopped canning too. Guess we would start again!

Is Rap Music? - YouTube
Carin comments on Aug 10, 2018:
No it's not. The performers don't sing or play instruments.
Carin replies on Aug 10, 2018:
No, I'm not yelling & I'm not a troll. Don't ask a question if you don't want people to reply with their own opinions. And since acapella is singing, why would anyone say it's not music?

@Donotbelieve That's not why I don't think it's real music though. There's plenty of music I don't like, but I don't say isn't music.

Carin replies on Aug 10, 2018:
@PalacinkyPDX They often "borrow" tracks from other musicians, correct? When I see it on Saturday Night Live (if I don't turn it off) there don't seem to be instruments involved. I try to limit my exposure to rap but I do have kids. & no, no way am I watching a rap video. I really don't like rap.

And never forget it.

Do men have a duty to provide?
Healthydoc70 comments on Aug 8, 2018:
Totally subjective. Where would the duty concept come from? Little like a soul, or angels.
Carin replies on Aug 10, 2018:
Just practicality maybe--men can earn more money than women (the wage gap is very real) & also women spend time being pregnant & breastfeeding, which makes it harder to work. But I have a hard time respecting women who don't work when they can.
Do you use religious terms sprinkled throughout our language?
RapidCityKelly comments on Aug 10, 2018:
I am trying to break the 'bless you' habit, but since I live and work in Catholic area, I find it hard to break. I do uses Jesus Christ as a swear....although I try to use 'geeze' more often. The 'thank God' thing is SO hard!!
Carin replies on Aug 10, 2018:
