I don't know what species it is, but it looks like a male as it appears to have pedipalps. We have somewhat similar looking large spiders called Wolf Spiders where we live. I'm a vegetarian, so I guess there are a lot of things I just won't eat. Before that though, I loved meat-steak tartar, anyone's liver, rabbit, duck, Shake 'n' Bake Squirrel, calamari, eels, pickled or salted herring (which is not cooked) but not Spam, tripe, snails, oysters, octopi or bacon. Now my weirdest food is probably Dutch licorice-they add salt & ammonium chloride to it, so if you haven't been fed it from birth you won't like it. I also like okra & poi. Won't eat oatmeal, cream of wheat, cream of rice, tapioca, rice or bread pudding--a texture thing.

They have to put a lot more effort into hiding their situation to avoid being victims of violence, so people get the impression that more men are homeless. Did you know the main cause of female homelessness is domestic violence? I don't live anywhere near you so I can't participate in your project, unfortunately.
