In my experience , the men in my life put next to nothing into a relationship , but wanted a hell of a lot from me . It didn't work out . I posted a request to see what people were willing to put into a relationship and what they expected to get out of one . Again , there was very little anyone was willing to invest in a relationship . My cats put more into a relationship than people are willing to do , so I'm withdrawing my dating site search . I'm happier on my own .
My folks weren't educated or rich , but Dad was good with his hands . He improved and/or expanded every place we lived in . I used what I learned from him , bought property , and improved them , rented them out , then sold them at a profit . At one point , I owned four properties .

Mom spent the last 52 years of her life living in Bermuda . I stopped counting my round trips to the northern tip of the Bermuda triangle after 14 . I've also visited Mexico , England , Scotland , Wales , Austria , Bavaria , and France . Oh , and California . It's foreign too , in it's own way .
Due to an ongoing stream of scammers on all dating sites , my permanent policy is that , no matter what the justification you give , I never , any circumstances send money .
Sapiosexual . High IQ , voracious reader , love Sci/Fi/Fantasy , non-smoker , seldom have any alcohol , don't use illegal drugs . Two adult children on their own . Two cats their Mom left with me .
I like being me . I like the person I have become . I like where I am at this point , in my life . I like what I've accomplished . And now , retirement suites me . I live in a nice little castle , with a long skinny moat out back . I enjoy LARPs , SciFiFantasy Cons , playing D & D , an occasional movie , catching up on all the TV shows I missed , while putting myself through college ( earned a BS in IFSM ) , swimming , and a little gardening .

 I am so fed up with even hearing about our Pres, that I simply remove the source , when anyone posts anything about Trump .
  those who think it's important , I don't wear make up , and don't have any on , in the photos . I truly wish this body was healthier than it is , and thinner , but I still manage . 
 I prefer people who are constructive , not distructive . I  have no desire to be with those who choose to smoke , use illegal drugs , or are alcoholic . Absolutely will not put up with abuse of any kind , I'm better than that . I'm not here to bail you out . My donations go to Planned Parenthood . Interesting , when I first signed up , they were showing 9 in the 80 % and 90 % ranges . Eventually , I posted that I wondered , with changes and updates , over time , if they re-evaluated the percentages . Which they immediately did . Apparently , over time , I raised the bar .

Suggest when you buy new pajama pants , you immediately buy double fold bias tape to mix or match your new pjs , let out the cuff , and cover the ends of the fabric with the bias tape . Alternatively , I had a very tall female friend , who would go to the men's section to buy pj bottoms , which she used as day casual slacks . Good luck , hon !

Here are some groups I tried : I volunteered at my local hospital , I put myself through college , I joined the Civil Air Patrol , I joined a couple of dance groups , I became involved with the Society for Creative Anachronism , I joined both Mensa and Intertel , I love reading and favor SciFi/Fantasy , so discovered Conventions built around these , I joined a LARP group , I found a local gaming store that provides gaming spaces every weekend . I also found that people active in a group are very likely to be active in other groups as well . One thing leads to another , as the saying goes . What are **your** interests . Start with things that interest you , sign up for a class . Check out the bulletin board at your local library . DIvorced ? Try Parents WIthout Partners . If I haven't hit something that interests you , yet , go to facebook and look up the local events listing - it shows what's going on around town each weekend . Once you've select an activity , make a point of approaching someone you think you may want to get to know . That's the hard part . Like horses ? Take some riding lessons . Like a specific kind of car ? My brother and his current wife joined a corvette group , and go on timed , legal limit , long distance "races ." How about motorcycles ? I'd love to hear what you choose to do , and that you follow through . Interested in cosplay ? There are groups for that ! Have fun , hon !

On those very few occasions when I needed to nurse an infant in public place , I at least tossed a soft flannel baby blanket over my shoulder and the baby's head . There is no reason you can't be discrete , and a bit modist . Can't say I feel good about women who have completed nursing their little one , who then sit there fully exposed in a deep conversation with others while hanging out with no baby attached . Just my opinion , not a law or rule .

I told him if he wanted to date her, he should ask her out on a date . It didn't last long . Later I began dating someone else , who worked in a different building . She was taking a class there , so they got together for lunch . Long story short , they eventually got married . Although it hurt at the time , I think I was the winner in the long run . Bide your time . Your feelings are strong for a man you've never met , and the chances of your meeting are small . Tell him , if his new love goes south , you'd love to get back in contact with him . Make some new friends . Won't be easy .
