Loved Terry Prachett , especially his Witch World . Wonderful puns ! Met him at a SciFi Con . Terry is missed . Also enjoyed Isaac Asimov , Andrea Norton , Robert Heinline , some David Eddings . Do you know where your towel is (Adams) ? Oh , and the series about the tavern with so many not quite normal customers . Who wrote those ? OH ! And the Myth series by Robert Asprin !

Cast1es comments on Feb 8, 2018:
The word bless , means to make happy . I can't be angry at someone wishing happiness on me , even it it's by an entity I don't believe in. I just say thank you , and move on .
Why must dating lead somewhere?
Cast1es comments on Feb 8, 2018:
Early in my teen years , Mom borrowed a library book , and told me to read certain chapters . The book explained that dating was a way to learn about a person , before you select a mate . A lot of others , decided dating , was a way of having no-strings-attached sex , and consider all women prostitutes . The 2015 census (googled it ) states , it now costs over a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000) , to have and raise a child . In my opinion , a man , who wants sex , but is unwilling to invest in a relationship , is not someone worth risking having a child with .

Cast1es comments on Feb 8, 2018:
While many friends are believers , I only block those who feel the need to pontificate routinely .

Cast1es comments on Feb 7, 2018:
A well stocked in-home personal library , a furry friend or two , cup of warm sweet liquid (hot chocolate , coffee , etc. for starters .) Some kind of in-home projects to be worked on sewing , crafts ( garb , art , practice music instrument , writing , plans for warmer weather activities , such as gardening , traveling )
As a technical Genius.
Cast1es comments on Feb 7, 2018:
I've found that , generically speaking , high IQ folks , seem more likely , to be less socially adept . I don't think it's because they consider themselves above others . They consider themselves , "normal ." I think it's more because of the difficulty in understanding , how others can believe and live by , some of the weird things they consider real or normal . And slowly back away . And , yes, living with disabilities does present more of a challenge .

Cursive , is a means of making printing , faster , by making it flow . Apparently , kids using machines to print , is faster than writing . Still , I was surprised to learn they are no longer teaching cursive in schools.
