During the summer months , he followed our power mower around the yard once a week . Once or twice a year , if we had snow , he'd shovel it . Most times he'd set the trash out for pick up , twice a week , if he felt like it . He didn't always . Now I set the trash out twice a week . I don't regret it . I NEVER have to waste my time at his Mother's house , live according to her rules , and get cut down for being more than either of them together ever measured up to . After we separated , I eventually put myself through college , I invested in real estate , I basically remade myself , because I didn't like the mold they had tried to force me into . So yeah ! I set out the trash . He remarried . According to my kids , he was eating every one of his evening meals at his Mother's house . His new wife wasn't .
