We develope our personalities , beginning with what we learn from our parents and our siblings . Our government , creates laws , which unfortunately , are not always equally fair to everyone . That's when society demonstrates against the ruling powers . Change is extremely slow , but it can happen . In some instances , obeying the law , is not moral .

While I can't speak for everyone , in some cases there are very valid reasons for a partner to loose interest in sex . Men often brag about the size of their equipment . Women's equipment comes in different sizes , as well . Even after giving birth , a woman can remain too small because , while doctors slice her open during the birth process , they also sew her closed afterwards . Some doctors go even further , without discussing it with the patient , adding what they call the husband's stitch , which makes it an even tighter fit , to please the husband . And it makes sex very painful for the wife . Some men know nothing about foreplay . He seems to feel , if he's ready , then she should be as well . And sticks it in , dry . Also painful . It's been strongly documented that after coming home from a forty hour work week , women put in another , on average , six hours work in home chores , nightly , while many men feel it's their right to sit on the sofa and watch TV nightly . When she hits the sack she is exhausted , and he has proved to her , he really doesn't care about her . Just as a bit of positive attention can improve a situation , so too , degrading comments are , to put it bluntly , a turn off . Not bothering to prepare yourself to make it a pleasant experience , ie. , washing your equipment , can also make it less than enjoyable . Letting others (such as her mother-in-law) walk all over her , doesn't encourage feelings of desire towards you either . Health issues , low nutriction (iron for instance) can cause exhaustion . Loosing respect for you , for what ever reason , is a turn off . While I can't say what specifically caused a woman's lack of interest , you might consider taking these into consideration . Make changes , if it's not already too late , or you may discover you have the same problems in future relationships , as well .

I am , by nature , an extreme introvert . The only person I , "knew ," when I moved here , was the real estate agent I had met , when I came here house hunting . My neighbors were all working folks , so even though I was retired , they weren't . Eventually I realized , if I were to ever have any friends here , I was going to have to get up and do something about it . After giving the situation some thought , I eventually came up with a plan , so to speak . Eventually , I made some acquaintances , and over time , they moved away . Then , I located a couple of organizations that interested me , joined , attended , and even participated a little bit . Made a couple of friends . A good one died , much too young . Another moved away . A third is currently distancing ( although we are in contact on the internet ) due to the pandemic . I've worked at making new acquaintances as new people move into the neighborhood . I make a point of breaking the ice . Opening the door , so to speak . I can accept that I'm not necessairly everyone's cup of tea , so after that , I back off a bit to see what they choose to make of it . Lately , I've been scootering over to Walmart for supplies . I've discovered there's a whole different set of folks who walk or bicycle through the neighborhood . Some smile or wave . One or two will stop and talk a little . I was surprised at the number of folks who recognize me and associate me with my home , who had never spoken to me before . Saw a bunch of teens setting up a basket ball game and decided to stop and watch . They seemed a bit startled at first , but seemed to like that I had taken an interest in their game . Wasn't rooting for either side , but was impressed by the activity . They were good . Fun game .
