In my experience , the men in my life put next to nothing into a relationship , but wanted a hell of a lot from me . It didn't work out . I posted a request to see what people were willing to put into a relationship and what they expected to get out of one . Again , there was very little anyone was willing to invest in a relationship . My cats put more into a relationship than people are willing to do , so I'm withdrawing my dating site search . I'm happier on my own .
My folks weren't educated or rich , but Dad was good with his hands . He improved and/or expanded every place we lived in . I used what I learned from him , bought property , and improved them , rented them out , then sold them at a profit . At one point , I owned four properties .

Mom spent the last 52 years of her life living in Bermuda . I stopped counting my round trips to the northern tip of the Bermuda triangle after 14 . I've also visited Mexico , England , Scotland , Wales , Austria , Bavaria , and France . Oh , and California . It's foreign too , in it's own way .
Due to an ongoing stream of scammers on all dating sites , my permanent policy is that , no matter what the justification you give , I never , any circumstances send money .
Sapiosexual . High IQ , voracious reader , love Sci/Fi/Fantasy , non-smoker , seldom have any alcohol , don't use illegal drugs . Two adult children on their own . Two cats their Mom left with me .
I like being me . I like the person I have become . I like where I am at this point , in my life . I like what I've accomplished . And now , retirement suites me . I live in a nice little castle , with a long skinny moat out back . I enjoy LARPs , SciFiFantasy Cons , playing D & D , an occasional movie , catching up on all the TV shows I missed , while putting myself through college ( earned a BS in IFSM ) , swimming , and a little gardening .

 I am so fed up with even hearing about our Pres, that I simply remove the source , when anyone posts anything about Trump .
  those who think it's important , I don't wear make up , and don't have any on , in the photos . I truly wish this body was healthier than it is , and thinner , but I still manage . 
 I prefer people who are constructive , not distructive . I  have no desire to be with those who choose to smoke , use illegal drugs , or are alcoholic . Absolutely will not put up with abuse of any kind , I'm better than that . I'm not here to bail you out . My donations go to Planned Parenthood . Interesting , when I first signed up , they were showing 9 in the 80 % and 90 % ranges . Eventually , I posted that I wondered , with changes and updates , over time , if they re-evaluated the percentages . Which they immediately did . Apparently , over time , I raised the bar .

My brother took , "our ," inhieritance , and bought himself a corvette . He traveled as a part of his job , and a woman took a shine to him . He joined a corvette owners club , which held meets - they'd drive to other destinations and had to check in along the way . They've been married for many years now . The corvette is long gone . In all likely hod , I couldn't even get in or out of that thing .

FInding a good caring assisted living sanctuary for your wife , while you are able , is the best first step . Seeing to it that she can remain , even if you pass on , is a good second step . Being a single parent with two small ones , is a great deal of responsibility on it's own . Hopefully , you've set up accounts with funds to cover your burial expenses , if need be . Hopefully you've set up the title of your home , so your daughter can inhierit it without a lot of cost involved ( Entitle your home as a revokeable living trust with you as trustee and her as beneficiary . In this way , you have full control of the house , until you die , but when you die it will be hers as if she has owned it all along , and inhiertence taxes do not apply .)

My almost 17 year old cat was sort of lethargic and hiding away until I put out this boot box.

The listed things , can easily have a yes or no answer . Are you happy , is always a mixed bag . You may have a happy home life , but a tortured career , or vise versa . Both home and career may be going well , but your health or that of a family member may be causing extreme stress . Physical health may be fine and dandy , but either your own or others' mental health may be taking a toll . There's simply no easy answer to , "Are you happy ."

When we were growing up , the entire topic of sex , was limited to whispering the letters s - e - x , if there was any mention of it at all . Not only were we not taught anything about it at all , apparently we weren't even supposed to know it existed , much less talk about it in any intelligent way . That was a very stupid way to do things , and I am very thankful that the topic is now more openly talked about . Yes , our necessary equipment is still hidden away in the back of the stores , although I think it's more a matter of giving women a little privacy as they make personal selections . No , we're not all the same sizes , anymore than all men wear the same size condoms . Not all periods are the same quantity or speed as others , even for the same or related women . Yes , the monthly period can be extremely painful . No , having sex or a baby , does not change whether it's painful or not . The pain is more in the stomach area , not the vagina area . Hope this answers a few questions , if needed .

When I first saw pineapple on pizza , I thought it sounded all wrong , too . Then I tried it , and it was great .
