He phoned me several times , and we agreed to meet half way between where we lived , at a Subway shop . I bought myself a sub , while I was waiting for him to show . We took our food to an outside table and sat to talk . He said he wanted us to be exclusive . I didn't know how I felt about him , I wasn't ready for that , and I had had thirty responses to my post , and wanted to check some of them before I made any kind of commitment . He got mad and said , it had cost him the bridge toll ( $1.00 , but only in one direction , there was no toll to go in the other direction ) . He had told me his ex was a material girl . I asked him if that meant , she expected three meals a day , a roof over her head , and cloths on her back . He said yes .

Back to NH for another court hearing tomorrow.

I wouldn't worry about minor things like that . It's the more important reasons that give me problems . I wouldn't date someone who is abusive , can't hold a job and is always in need of money , smokes , drinks , gets high , can't hold a decent , intelligent conversation , is incarcerated , can't take responsibility for their actions , or belongs to someone else .

Funny , I've never seen men complaining about all the men specific Holidays . When I was small we celebrated Washington's Day , and Lincoln's Day , then they combined those two so they could add Martin Luther King's day . There's St Patrick's Day . There's Father's Day . There's Columbus Day . There's Christmas Day . We get off from work for all of those . There is one Mother's Day . That's on a Sunday , so it's never a day off from work . Period . Bear in mind also , that what you are able to do at this time , may be more than you can do in the future - I've had to make expensive adjustments to my home and personal transportation , due to health issues I've chosen to , "age in place ," so have made arrangements to hire others to do some things , I can no longer handle on my own . That seems to be working out well for me , and I've gradually increased my help as needed . There are costs involved , when you get into assisted living , and you may find the amount of greed of some assisted living places and what you get for your money is much greater than you anticipated . Be skeptical . If it looks too good to be true , it most likely is .
