I used to think there must be a god if so many people believe. Then I learned how the brain and social systems work.

It was a relief to give up belief. I no longer spend time wondering if I'm following God's path and am making my own paths. I'm so much happier.

I live in a town with a large lds population. There are young people who've cut off society's need for God, but people my age still get that look and attitude when they find out I don't believe. Luckily, my dogs don't care! 🙂
