In all seriousness, I assume it is because the efficacy of "local pharmacy" medications in causing death is not what you're looking for if you seriously want to die. Most of it is pills with which a lot of things can go wrong. If they had Schedule II IV medications at that pharmacy (which, to be honest, I don't know if they are stocked at any local pharmacies) that would be a different story. It's all about comfort level and assumed success rates I imagine.

That's not far off a good run at it. Add in the people that will vote for Hitler (or a child molester- one only lost by a point and a half) before a Democrat and you're getting pretty close. I don't think that's accurate. The protest was about all of the unfair taxes on tea, molasses, sugar, coffee, cloth, wine, etc. So while it didn't have to do with tea *specifically* (it's what just happened to be docked when the colonists were finally fed up) it *was* about taxes.

@JackPedigo I do not believe in "agree to disagree" for anything that's not a matter of preference. I've had several disagreements with extremely logical and intelligent people. Never has the discussion devolved from civility. We just discussed the matter until a resolution was reached in all but one case. (However, that case was a discussion about the implications of a theoretical device that could intercept all sensory input from your neural pathways and replace it with other sensory information designated by a third party, so I don't think that counts as a failure on our part.)

Once I realized that there are instances that we have no freedom whatsoever, it was an easy next step to realize that the times we feel we do is just an illusion. I have an extremely violent immune response to the flu vaccine, so much so that I'd rather take the risk of just getting the flu. C. I hadn't had the flu for probably 2 decades before they started forcing me to take the shot. D. Anecdotally, I have been ill with the common cold much more frequently in the years I was forced to tax my immune system with a response to the flu shot. E. And no, I wouldn't call that rape. There's essentially no difference between a man who had a vasectomy not disclosing and a man who naturally shot blanks from not disclosing (or not even knowing).
