I've been described as a bit of a renaissance man. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and kayaking as well as creative endeavors like writing, composing music, painting and poetry. I eat a bit like a vegetarian or maybe pescatarian but balance it with a good cheeseburger a few times a year. I'm fairly happy most of the time but I have bad days occasionally. I tend volunteer too much and it becomes a bit overwhelming sometimes.
I love it when people ask me about my art or music. Creative endeavors and enjoying nature helps me to stay centered.
In my free time you'll find me enjoying a hike (some camping) and kayaking during my free time but also like live events small concert venues and soccer.
I'm most passionate about nature, art and my boys (21 and 25). Sports and beer are pretty good too.
I’m fairly laid back, and though I’m no saint in the process, I believe that being kind is the best approach to most people and situation. I have a little mantra I developed. Think, share and appreciate as often as you are able forgiving yourself and others of human frailties for together we will grow.
So, while I appreciate a good joke, I'm not really into the continual bashing of any religion, culture or group of people. My preference would be a world free from religion but to each their own. Celebrate the positive and kindly help each other reason through judgment and negativity.
