@jorj Since I am a Latina, Spanish speaker from birth...and I have a Masters to teach Spanish at the Secondary / University levels...your remark about "other ethnicity" is quite senseless. Additionally, "cortés" is a last-name that as Taylor, Cannon, Blacksmith....and many others in many languages derived from adjective and nouns as old as the the language. IAW, the spelling of her last-name is incorrect and, while it would take a lot of money and time to fix, it would be a sign of common sense to change it to its original spelling. And, also, you should know that there are millions of blonde, white, blue eyed Spanish speaking people.....and this goes to your "another ethnicity". Si quieres te lo explico en español...aunque creo que tampoco lo comprenderás.

DUCHESSA replies on Jul 27, 2018:
@TristanNuvo She had a strong accent because her first years in USA she probably only spoke Italian....is always the case. Now, having said that...to have an accent is nothing wrong. I do (in English) because I learned said language from childhood BUT in a Spanish speaking country. BEW, to learn Spanish was easier for you because you are used to Italian. I will be talking -again- classes in Italian next semester...I did in college and I heard this language all my life in my other country.
