Cool.. I came across this word in Istanbul while "bargaining" for a carpet bag at the Grand Bazarr. It was in relation to the hot apple tea they served while the sales pitch was going on. (I was in the store for well over an hour.. several apple teas later..) The tea was brought in already poured on a large platter type of dish. Smallish thimble shaped glasses without handles. Before taking one I was handed a metal object that looked like a pair of pliers but were connected in a loop at the end. "You must use a zarf." said my salesman. When you squeezed the handles the loop would widen slightly. The glass was dropped into the space and the loop tightened around it when the grip on the handles relaxed. An interesting tool.

I know little to nothing about the mechanics of dreaming but there is a technique called “lucid dreaming” where the sleeper becomes aware they are dreaming and gains a certain control over the actions in that dream. I, myself, have had episodes of lucidity in the past just out of pure luck. I looked into it at the time enough to find out what was happening but didn’t take any time to develop it as a skill. Maybe being able to control the reoccurring dream in some way can change the outcome of it and by extension change it enough to destroy it. Kinda sci-fi but it’s what I got. Lol It must suck to have this going on. Good luck. 🤞
