For the longest time I didn’t join the modern age.. I was without a phone until 3 years ago. My ex, on the other hand, was very active online. As our relationship changed and she started branching out into the world with a new career I was always tempted to look at the iPad on the night table. Although I suspected “emotional ( if not physical) affairs I never did snoop. No doubt if I had our relationship would have ended much sooner than it did. Hard to tell. I have different issues at different times brought on by repetitive strain from work. But by in large when I have recovery time I feel good enough for my age. My left shoulder still has a tear in the rotator cuff but I suppose that is technically a muscle/ ligament/ tendon thing not specifically joint related.

I do live with mild anxiety. Nothing I feel I need therapy or medication for. When I feel that state of agitation beginning I know that there are things in my life that I have an underlying worry about. And I know I need to take steps to work on resolving the issues.(Sometimes it's money and debt, other times it might be the children or my love life.. sometimes everything at the same time. ) Niot that I have to succeed at solving the problems but at least working on them. Procrastination is a large contributor to my anxious angst.

The therapist **won't** treat it or **can't **treat it.? There is no subtle difference. In the first scenario it is the therapist who has been tasked with creating a successful outcome for the patient. The second scenario tasks the patient with developing a successful outcome to treatment. If the patient is not able to accept treatment, for whatever reason, no amount of therapy will give a positive result. You sound set and resolved/ resigned to your interpretation of your MH issues. A rhetorical question for you to ponder the answer to.. when you approach therapy or interactions with mental health professionals are you generally in the frame of mind to be open to their interpretations of your situation.. or.. have you made your own diagnosis and expect them to taylor treatment to what you think is going on? The best outcomes can evolve from differing starting points. Objective 3rd parties with knowledge and background often see what we know to be true but avoid because we don't want the answer that is real.

However the PADI certificate last year was partially career motivated as Diving will no doubt be part of my Marine Environmental Research Logistics company I will be developing over the coming years. When I turn 65 University tuition is free in Canada. I will take full advantage of that opportunity. 😁😁

I honestly think the amount of chemicals and toxins we have introduced into our daily living is reaching a critical mass on every level of our lives We have seen direct evidence physically from birth defects to chronic organ illness. Our mental health is no less susceptible to falling victim to the effects of poison . No collated proof from research or anything. Just a gut feeling. Maybe it seems more like a North American trend because of both the media coverage you watch and in general access to an incredibly large range of food stuffs that are beyond what could be called processed. In any case. whatever the reason, mental health issues are surely marching forward to be at the head of the line of societies most stubborn and harmful oversights.

Learned of the luck and good fortune behind the symbol in the 80's. I was working with a crew that was renovating a Deli shop in an older neighborhood of Toronto. Pulled up the flooring to reveal the remnant of what was once a ceramic tile floor. The edge was bordered with swatika symbols done in black and white Subway squares. Apparently as a wish for prosperity. I was taken a bit by surprise but I've seen the symbol in a number of locations in different countries around the world. It is a rather pretty design. It's the symmetry that, to me, makes it easy to look at.

I’ve worked as a cook in a few places. In my 20’s as an actor it was my go to in the restaurant business instead of waiting. I’ve always liked cooking but can’t say as I have a passion for it. But my favourite cooking experience was in Austria in ‘86. Got hired at a ski resort/hotel for 3 months to make pizza in an oven where there is a wood fire in the corner. Made the dough from scratch daily (using live yeast.. lol.. that took some practice). In a more “cooking for me” vein.. I really enjoy steaming clams and boiling lobsters on the beach. ☀️
