A little simplistic in it's analysis of the stereo typical childhood experiences and how they relate to partner choices as an adult but an interesting video none the less. That said.. I do feel I am attracted to a certain type of personality. And where I do agree with the video is in that what I am attracted to will, in the long run, have it's share of negative challenges. But is that personality that of my mother or father or childhood caregiver? Not really.. The important take away, for me, from this information is the notion of being "compelled"..( understanding your partner type compulsions can be as difficult as dealing with addictions) but dealing with those choices as an adult. Being mature enough to recognize when the difficulty is up to the other to ultimately solve. Thanks for the post.

I have found the best way to avoid receiving unwanted advice from people who are, in their heart of hearts, well meaning is to just not involve them in my situation. When I confide in people who don't have training or skills to deal with my issues I am putting them at a disadvantage. They are only doing what they assume is the right thing to do.. trying to "fix" things. If I don't want to illicit an opinion.. I don't involve them. And to be fair.. they don't generally ask me how my anxiety is.. it's my choice to put my deal on their plate. As difficult as it is at times I keep it to myself until I am speaking with someone who understands what mental health support is.

Yeah.. there is some difference. The second one is lighter in tone. If you play with some of the more dramatic looking ones it can be very impressive. I see the filters as play tools for the most part. Lets me put a little artsy fartsy into the look. Makes my images a little more unique than just a straight up photo. Have fun!! :)
