Hello-I'm a 62-year-old white man from Farmington NM. For me this is the perfect site for me to meet people. I'm 99.9% convinced that I am athiest. I did not grow up in a church environment; my parents had no religion. I grew up in a small town near Farmington that had three big churches, Baptist, Mormon and Catholic. All my classmates seemed to belong to one of these three. I tried to "get religion," but it just didn't take hold. I tried out the Baptish church because there were a couple of girls I dated were members. I played on a Mormon basketball team; there was a good chruch league in the area. I would go to church now and then just for the sake of apperinces, but was never baptsied. The coach covered for me. To me people get into religion because they fear death
