I think anger about this fool’s actions would be expected from atheists. With all the religious talk about “restoring rule of law” one would suppose this man would respect laws. Outsiders being forbidden on this island protects the outsiders and the natives. If he introduced a pathogen which ...

But you are right there are, from my understanding those whose midnds are just as poisioned calling him a hero.

The island which he went to is well known. Others, not trying to spread religion have been killed there. So, he would have known the risks. And doing so makes him eligible for a Darwin award. If he expected god to protect him, he was highly naive. I place his death in a category akin to going ...

The ‘preacher ‘ decided that his faith was more important than the law and obviously common sense. You must admit , his arrogance led to his demise . Do you not think that religious terrorists are the same as this bloke .? After all , evidently , they believe they have some divine mandate too....
DavidLaDeau replies on Nov 23, 2018:
Was it only his personal arrogance? Could other factors have lead to his actions? Would he have gone to spread his religion If he was not infected by his religion?

They justified the unjustifiable in order to survive. It was wrong and they may have done horrable things. My grandfather immigrated to America and was indeed a very good man. If he did do horrific things he did not do them out side of that enviroment. It was not him but the culture that made him do it(if he did anything bad at all.) We are humans. It just sometimes boils down to style and approach. Some methods may work very well for others that do not work for me. All methods and styles of approach are needed as they may work well on different people. I just like to plant seeds of doubt and let them do the cultivation on their own so that it seems to be their idea.

Thank you! The conversation should start with the conclusion that one has come to. One can not be wrong about that. Once that has been estalished we can then discover if the methodology may be flawed. Yes and no. Religion is much like evolution. It always goes back to some other foundation much further back in history. You are correct that Christianity was founded upon the the mythology of the time that it began.

It was a middle school and drag queen is a profession for many people. He was in fact invited by a student. A drag queen is a man a HE. A transvestite is simply a cross dresser who does it for their own personal reasons not as a profession. Not to be confused with transgender. Transgender is a person that has chosen to identify with the gender that they feel is appropriate to them, that is not a job or choice but a very difficult process to go through.

@walklightly This is a valid question. The tangable for one. Senses are another. Logic can be helpful. Sometimes we must defer to thers such as in science where facts can be proven. We could individually be delusional the only thing we can do here is to "trust" that everyone else is based in reality. We can test what is real and not real according to physics. We can determine with tes what is physical. The meta physical by definition does not exist. There is not really a Who in the answer.
