I'm fairly new to atheism. I was indoctrinated quite thoroughly as a child and was pretty gung ho as a young adult. But life showed me that my beliefs weren't a good foundation for life and one day I finally let go.

I often look around as though I'm seeing things for the first time. It's both awe inspiring and intimidating. I'm having to reframe everything. Solving problems has become a whole different ballgame now that it's up to me to do it and not some invisible guy in the sky. It can feel incredibly heavy but also wonderfully empowering.

Thanks for being on this journey of life with me. Hopefully I'll get to know some of you better.
